our story
A culinary experiencerooted in hospitality.
White Wine & Butter was created to bring elevated Louisiana cuisine together with intentional hospitality and unforgettable atmosphere.
louisiana inspiration
Inspired by New Orleans tradition.
Generational recipes, sustainable seafood, and bold Louisiana flavors come together in a dining experience designed to feel like a great night in the French Quarter — without leaving the upstate.

meet the chef
Chef Michael Sibert — cooked for a President.
Food Network Champion and Chopped winner, Chef Michael has earned the kind of résumé most chefs only dream of — including the honor of cooking for President Barack Obama at the Poinsett Hotel.
That same precision and care shows up on every plate at White Wine & Butter, from the étouffée to the dry-aged steaks. Big-stage technique, neighborhood warmth.
meet the COO
Samantha — New Orleans born and raised.
Samantha grew up in New Orleans, surrounded by the food, music, and hospitality that define the city. Louisiana isn't a concept here — it's her home.
The spark for White Wine & Butter started with a single gift: Samantha handed her husband, Chef Michael, her grandmother's cookbook. Those generational Creole and Cajun recipes became the soul of the menu, and Samantha now leads operations to make sure every guest feels that same family-table hospitality.

hospitality philosophy
Hospitality is the point.
Great food is the floor, not the ceiling. We design every detail — the temperature of the room, the weight of the silverware, the way you're walked to the door — for a single feeling: that you were genuinely glad you came.
