From Greenwood, SC to a lasting legacy.

A Greenwood, South Carolina native, Chef Michael Sibert brings together refined culinary technique and bold Louisiana tradition to create a dining experience unlike anything else in Greenville.

A graduate of Cornell University and the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas, Chef Michael has appeared twice on Food Network and was crowned Chopped Champion in 2025. In 2024 he was named a South Carolina Chef Ambassador, recognizing his role in representing and promoting the state's culinary culture.

At only 22 years old, he earned his first Executive Chef role and has continued pushing culinary excellence to new heights through precision, creativity, and hospitality.

Under his leadership, White Wine & Butter was named USA Today's Restaurant of the Year for 2026 — a national honor reflecting his belief that great food and genuine hospitality bring people together.
